| This delightful villa, sitting above the resort of Agia Marina, has a pretty and secluded position amidst olive groves, which is where Nikos, the owner, found the inspiration for it’s name, Liostasi – translated it means ‘a place amongst the olives’. The olive trees stretch out on all sides of the villa giving an air of privacy but the grounds of Liostasi are spacious and light. The lovely pool is surrounded by grass on three sides and a large patio at the front of the house that looks on to the pool makes a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner – in fact it makes a great place anytime of day!
Villa Liostasi has a warm friendly atmosphere and feels more like a
comfortable home than a holiday villa. Designed on three levels the open plan ground floor has a well equipped kitchen, dining area and a spacious living area with comfortable seating. On the second floor there are two twin bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, and on the top level is a very spacious master bedroom, with a double bed, and ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms all look onto the garden and all have views to the sea from their spacious balconies.Other facilities at Liostasi include air-conditioning (in all rooms), a separate WC on the ground floor, Jacuzzi baths (in all bathrooms), a washing machine, TV, music centre, a pool side BBQ and an attractive 10 x 5 metre pool where you are sure to spend much of your time. Even with its secluded position Villa Liostasi is less than 2 kms from Agia Marinas long sandy beach, which offers water sports and many beachside tavernas. The Samaria Gorge, Elafonisi, Crete’s tropical beach and the lagoon of Balos are further highlights of the area. Even if you are looking for just pure relaxation we are sure you won’t be able to resist a visit to the spectacular Venetian harbour town of Chania, one of the loveliest towns in Crete, with its maze of narrow streets and pretty waterfront that’s situated just 15 minutes drive away! |
