Situated on the side of a small hill within the resort of Almeritha these brand new apartments (finished in May this year) offer excellent family sized accommodation and a superb location. They are ideally situated within easy reach of the resorts facilities and its lovely sandy beach. In just five minutes (on foot) you can be dipping your toe in the crystal clear water, buying fresh bread and tasty pastries from the bakery or enjoying a cool drink or an appetising dinner in one of the handful of tavernas situated by the sea! Pegasus’ excellent location and design also ensures each apartment of idyllic sea views and spectacular sunsets. The 8 two bedroom maisonettes are built on two levels with two bedrooms on the upper level (both with twin beds) and the open plan living/kitchen/dining area on the ground level. The sofa converts into two extra beds (separated), more suited to children than adults. The two bathrooms, both with showers, are situated one each on both the ground and the upper floor. The apartment is air-conditioned throughout and the well-equipped kitchen also includes the convenience of a washing machine. A large patio leads from the living area and each bedroom also has a private balcony, one with sea views and one with mountain views. There is also a communal BBQ at Pegasus and the lovely swimming pool with its spacious terrace sits picture-perfect at the front of the accommodation. A car is certainly not essential for a stay at the Pegasus Apartments and if you prefer we can take it out of the cost of your holiday but we have included it as we think it will enhance your stay. There is plenty to see and do in the local region, which offers a stunning natural beauty with pretty hillside villages dotted throughout as well as easy access to some of western Cretes well known places of interest; the colourful freshwater Lake of Kournas with its waterside tavernas, the historical site of Hellenistic Aptera, the 14th century monasteries of the Akrotiri, the picturesque Gorges of Samaria and Imbros and one for all the family, the very lovely Venetian harbour town of Chania, which is only a 20 minute drive away.
